cuts right to korra's core. as suspicious as she is about this person and the shifty way she has just shown up with this warning out of the blue... korra can't put the lives of anyone else at risk. her blue eyes turn down for a moment, letting her mind run through her options, but honestly — there's only one choice, and she knows it. she's made this choice before.
of course, that choice was one she believed in whole-heartedly, the resurrection of a long-dead culture. korra is still not there with temperance or the rising sun; she wants to believe they're good. just. moral. she wants to keep the faction leaders from death for as long as she can. ]

[ naga gets to her feet, her tail wagging slowly as she plods up behind korra. another member of the rising sun tries to catch her attention but korra waves them off. ]
